There could be over 30 living species of lemurs. Some species are now extinct, with ancient lemur, which was as big as a gorilla and weighed around 400 pounds. Today, lemurs can be seen in shapes and sizes, straight from tiny mouse lemurs towards big indri, which is roughly how big is a house cat.
